Sorry for the radio silence. Shannon and I haven't meant to be slack on communicating. The last two months have seen everything change for us. We have finished the book and the print proof copy should be here in the next day or two. God's grace has seen us through so much and so many different things.
This week makes 8 months that Shannon and I have spent on the road together. Day in and day out we have been by each others side. Time together turns up the heat. Each of us has rough edges, bad habits, and things we do wrong. Spending this much time together makes little things big and before too long patience runs thin, then runs out. Father has boiled us to the point of having no other option than facing the truth and making real changes. Without that we would not have made it. That is a difficult thing to realize and a harder thing to confess publicly.
All glory to God, Shannon and I have been experiencing the very real work of the indwelling Holy Spirit. Growing and changing as Father molds us and causes us to face the truth about ourselves and our marriage and surrending into His saving grace. I confess all this openly to share the truth about what we have faced and been through in order to encourage. Face the thing, or things, whatever they may be. Face them believing that we have not been given the spirit of fear, but the Spirit of power and love and sound mind. Believe, really, actually, to the point of change and then encourage others to believe. We can become NEW, we can be healed spiritually, and we can experience the joy of Christ Jesus.
Thank you so much to our folks who have been such a blessing. Thank You God for being revealing Yourself to us as we sought and allowing us to interact with each other and Your body in this new and exciting way, Grace and peace and love and hope to one and all in every way in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Much Love,
e
