I have got to get some perspective. I was talking to Erin and yes, I was complaining. I was confessing that I've been getting antsy because we’ve been in Arkansas for almost a month. I know all of this is God’s provision but I was struggling! I am ready to see other parts of the country.

By the way, its July 4th weekend and our friends, Russell and Beverly are here from Texas. They have been spending this holiday in Arkansas for more than 20 years. It’s their family tradition. We’ve actually spent several 4th of July weekends with them as well. So I guess it’s no accident we are still here and able to spend time with them.

That’s when it finally hit me. God isn’t currently showing me scenery, He’s showing me people.

Just in the last month we’ve been able to spend time with Jeff, Betrille, Jess, Jared and all the other good people at CYB. It just so happened that Randy and Crystal were at camp this summer and we’ve had the privilege of ministering with them. I was able to spend time with one of my best friends, Sandra. I also visited with Courtney, Ali, Anna and Tim. Now, we get to hang out with Russell and Beverly. I really do deserve a smack and ask forgiveness for ever complaining about God’s plan. I still don’t know how long God will have us at CYB. Erin is working on the hitch for the motorcycle and it’s not easy.

Lord, please give me patience and a heart for you. Thank you for showing me once again that people are the reason for this journey. It’s a great reminder that people are what’s important to you as well.

Until next time,

Loved your comment that God wasn't showing you scenery, but people! That's always the hard part...stopping long enough to REALLY see people! I'm all about the projects!...is my middle name "Martha" ?!?!?!
