A quiet day spent with family. Cooler than in New Orleans. Had lunch at the Mellow Mushroom pizza house. Toured Auburn and the areas of the university where Jim works. Just hung out in the afternoon and evening. Hickory smoked chickens are on the menu for tonight.

The chickens were nice. A distinct hickory flavor but nothing overwhelming. Steamed asparagus was the accompaniment.
