We were in a new town (not quite) and we were starting to feel down, (mum felt seasick)
so we thought of nothing better than to go to the YMCA to get ourselves cleaned and have a good meal.... and do what ever we felt like we wanted to do,,,
A nights sleep and completed some tasks in the morning and we set off for Bagamoyo.

I was at the YMCA dar es salaam today to meet another friend there and i was shocked that i could not to see him in the canteen or even pass through the gate because i had dreadlocks!!!! i speak swahili and the guy @ the gate didnt know if i wasnt a tanzanian. I have never seen such a discrimination and flocked with a thousand questions of where i come from and whats my mission.
Having dreadlocks is for me a pleasure, i am not a rastafari and dont smoke anything except fresh air!!
Blacks we hate each other or what is this.
Though i requested to speak with the boss they couldnt let me in or give me the number of the person in charge.
i am not rude at all but i was treated rudely!
i was suprised!
Can someone at the YMCA DARESALAAM do something i think the foundamentals of YMCA are clear that is to accomodate everyone!
Arent there any YMCA in Jamaica?
