Where I stayed
Google docs has been an awesome travel tool for planning with two families. If you've never used it, it's like DVR- sometimes hard to explain why you will love it, but once you try it, you can't imagine why everyone doesn't see its magic :)
Google docs is like word, except it is online and you can share with people by clicking a button and inviting them. Then, you can collaborate (in real time, if you wish) to do awesome things like list what you are packing so that the people travelling with you don't needlessly pack something you have plenty of, or plan a get together with a who-does-what list that, again, can be updated in real time. It's sort of a hybird of Word and a facebook wall.
Anyhow, with all this extra time, we've been able to work the google docs list (titled "anti redundancy stuff packed list") to make sure we don't both pack the same games, same first ad stuff, too many rubberband punch balls, etc.
