Jon and I decided to go see some sites. We took one of my favorite drives up the Sylvan Lake road through part of Custer State Park. We walked around the lake to the backside of the rocks where the waterfall is. Gorgeous place!
The next day, dad, Jon and I mounted up on our trusty Honda's and took the Scenic Pigtail Hi-way which wanders around through Custer Park, highlighting Mount Rushmore along the way.
After the winding ride, we decided to catch some lunch in Keystone. Touristy town with a historic train that goes back and forth to Hill City. The train crosses the road some 13 + times (not exactly sure of the count....but a bunch). Anyway, it is interesting to see if you can get to the next crossing before the train.
