Hit the Victoria Station early to board our bus to Leeds Castle.  This was the best castle that we saw, I thought.  The grounds were very lovely, the moat was terrific and inside was really nice.  This was one of the few places that allowed pictures on the inside.

Back on the bus we headed to Canterbury.  At Canterbury we had the traditional lunch of "Fish-n-Chips" at Panteli's with apple pie and cream for dessert--YUMMY!  Waistline is shot!

Having finished lunch we proceeded to Canterbury Cathedral.  Much of the glass from the Cathedral is 12th and 13th century.  Currently, much of the building is undergoing restoration of the exterior.  Canterbury is known for being the place where Thomas Becket was murdered in 1170-much history here...

We made a quick round of Canterbury and then boarded our bus to Dover.

Dover was simply a quick stop at the beach area for photo ops and fun.  The white cliffs of Dover are basically chalk.  Once the Dover area was not separated  from France by the water now know as the English Channel.  The weather was quite nice, but we could not see France....sigh.....
