A Pocket Full of Sunshine.....early june

Thank-You.............

I want to tell each and everyone of you how much it means to me to receive your comments through the blog and personal emails,I'm grateful for the support and encouragement that has come my way. The blog is a way for me to process all the changes that are taking place in my life this year and what better way then to share ongoing experiences with family and friends. I also keep a personal journal when i want to delve deeper into soul issues. This journey is truth from my heart. Thanx so much for taking the time to read and share,i couldn't do this without you all .

The Birth-Day.......

When i awoke on June 3rd 2008,the day was overcast and chilly..i was feeling down shortly after i got up as the homesickness set in it seemed to want to stay,i put on a good face but my eyes spoke the truth.I made my way to Marys where she was full of smiles and chattering Happy Birthday, tears were behind my eyes as i tried hard to suck it up and carry on with the day...I made my way to Wells to upload the blog entry and put it out there instead of holding it in, i was able to touch base with a dear friend through skype which added a lift to my heart,we got cut off somehow and inside the damn broke and i cried. Carol the owner overheard me and came in she gave me a big hug and surprised me with a beautiful amber pendant..I felt comfort as i returned to Barkerville, Mary too me to the old photo studio here where u dress in costume and presto a picture in her, story is born, i wore my costume from the St.George Hotel and Mary was a gun toting womyn lol then i decided to go and watch the play "Motherlode" the play depicts the ethnic diversity that is throughout Barkerville his/her-story but in my opinion isn't very well told .here day to day.One particular actress caught my attention( Mary had given me a heads up) her name is Keisha a young mulatto womyn who looks very similar to Taylor. The end of the play resulted in my heart being more open and my mood lighter. A two step down the street and a smile finally on my face i was ready to embrace the rest of the day( the time being 3:30 pm)Hanging with Mary again two wonderful things took place first off we saw the Motherlode actors making their way out of Barkerville in street clothes and Mary says this is your chance bold as u all now i can be i yelled to keisha and told her how much she looked like my daughter and that today was my birthday and i missed her well miss thing comes running to me and gives me hug and says this is a hug from Taylor i gotta say this kid has that spirit of Taylor ,the second kewl encounter i had was with young Erica ( a friend of Dorthory )Erica lives two blocks from my Vancouver apartment kewl eh!!moving right along Mary,Saya and Emily(my 18 yr old roomie) took me out to dinner at the Lung Duck Tong Restaurant which is an operating restaurant here in Barkerville and very popular!!!! Dinner was fab,Mary read our tea leaves after which bought much laughter. The rest of evening spent hanging with Mary and phone calls. I headed back to the St.George to hit the hay,Emily said did u see what was left on the table for me....a beautiful cake and roses were left by jean my co-worker from the candy store..

The name of this blog entry has become Mary's and I theme song its very uplifting and never hesitates to bring out a whole lot of dance movement from us. So I thought it was fitting on a sad day that yep there was a silver lining somewhere..... Bring on the music
