Well today was our big day, the day when we leave new zealand. we left our house in a shuttle, around 2'o'clock. our first stop, at laguna beach in california. We got to the airport about 3:30 for a seven o'clock flight and it was, to say the least, quite boring. me and my sister, Samantha, played cards then we went and sat down for an hour or so in a waiting bay before we went on to the plane. we waited for about half an hour on the plane before it took of from new zealand for a 12 hour flight. what was funny about it was we were going 8 hours into the past!
we went from 7:00 pm march 26 to 11:00 am march 26. on the plane we could watch tv which was really cool. I watched the simpsons and the family guy (four episodes each). i got a 5 hour sleep on the plane. when we got off it took about one hour and a half to get out of customs then another 20 minutes to find our shuttle it took about five minutes to get to our car, which was just outside the airport. The car was a Dodge Ram. We put our bags in which was quite a mission and headed off to our first destination, Laguna Beach.
