Today we spent our day at Sturbridge Village.  Sturbridge is a recreation of an 1800s town where the children were able to visit different store fronts where docents dressed as people of the time  explained to vistiors a bit about their lives and careers.  After visiting the village, students participated in a town hall meeting led by a Sturbridge moderator who helped students debate on some of the issues in their community.  We finished the day by cooking a meal from scratch and eating in a very civilized fashion.

Yesterday we found ourselves in a variety of places.  We started our day at the Boston Tea Party Museum and threw crates of tea overboard in the name of Liberty!  We then took the T to the Museum of Science where we explored the hands-on exhibits and watched a lightning show.  The big finale was, of course, Fenway and the Red Sox game.  Unfortunately, it was not a victory for the Sox, but it was a victory of gluttony for the rest of us!  We rolled in at 11 and barely made it to our pillows before falling into a deep sleep.
