Wow what a day. Dad and I are having a great time and the golf was unbelievable. We got up and had a nice breakfast here at the hotel and then went over to the course. We lucked out again and were able to play as a twosome again. The starter was a transplant from New York and he took care of us. I can't begin to describe how beautiful the course was. It would have to be a cross between what it must be like at Augusta and Pinehurst. It was difficult and had rolling hills, well trapped with elevated greens. It was very fair and but the course was demanding. The approach shots to the greens had to be very precise and you can't run any ball up to the green, everything is a full carry. The course played around a beautiful lake and a few of the holes were right next to the water. Dad and I played well, the 2nd nine was really good for dad. I think he had 5 pars and ended up shooting 40 or 41. It was so much fun and I could play this course every day and never get tired of it. The Lake course look great as well so we play that tomorrow and so we will let you know how that compares. After golf we took a drive into Auburn and drove around the campus. It very nice and big but not much was open on on Sunday so we may try to head back tomorrow and get some Tiger gear before we leave for the next course. We are have a great trip so far. I hope you are all enjoying hearing about our travels - this is great practice for me before we head to Thailand in July.
Hope everyone at home is having a great day and I am sure that the pool is getting lots of use today.
Love you all - Craig (aka - dad)

Hi from Kathi!
Glad to hear that you guys are having a great time and you are still talking to each other!!! Too bad I didn't know you would be in Auburn because my friends Kim and Karl live there. Karl is one of the Deans at Auburn. He could have given you a grand tour!!! Maybe even some free gear! Oh well, next time. Love to you both! By the way, Justin mzy be trying ut for the Empire State Games on Wed. He really doesn't have a chance in hell of making it as a freshman but he wants the experience of trying out. Anyway, keep your fingers crossed! Love to you both! Kathi
