Where I stayed
The drive to Bath included torrential rain and a slightly roundabout drop off of the men's wedding suits (with Moss Bros listing a shop on their website which is actually not yet built) but we made it to Bath. After a delicious lunch it was time for the big reveal; after 10 months of secret planning Craig was finally going to reveal to Kate the honeymoon destination. In Waterstones Kate had to close her eyes and play the hotter colder game to pull out the relevant guide book...and it was for RIO DE JANEIRO! Kate was very, very happy with this and they headed back to the stunning Bath Spa Hotel to start planning.
With the rain still pouring it seemed a good time to eat the last of our wedding cake in our upgraded suite's living room, along with a bottle of rosť and honeymoon planning. We also opened our remaining wedding cards and enjoyed their thoughtful words.
As the rain eased off we took a stroll through the lovely town and went to a Nepalese for dinner which Craig had previously raved about called Yak Yeti Yak which was indeed yummy.
We spent Tuesday morning enjoying the hotel's spa facilities, including all the different types of steam, sauna and scent rooms, then headed back to London to unpack and re-pack to jet off on honeymoon to Brazil the next day!
