Waterford to Dungarvan for New Years Eve 2009

last night in Kilkenny. It is very cold, but it has been a great
experience so far. Mark and Alan and I spent most of one day in the
Guinness factory, think they enjoyed it.
Dublin looks great at night but dreary during the daytime. I suppose
one word for it is depressing. We did enjoy Trinity College and St
Stephens Green. We have hired a car to continue our journey through
Ireland.
We are here in Waterford and guess what the Waterford factory is
closed. We will have to come back I guess!!! We are on our way to
Dungarvin to visit Sarah, Kieran and Benjamin. I spoke to Sarah last
night and she is going to come into Dungarvin and pick us up as she the
directions to their farm may be somewhat confusing. I did tell Kieran
we had a GPS and he said f...you're not going to the North Pole! here
in Ireland we use CGM (Come Get Me) so we are looking forward to
celebrating New Years Eve with them. We are going to restaurant for
dinner and then to the pub for a Trad session (Traditional Irish
Music). Kieran plays the fiddle and spends a lot of time playing music
in the pub.
We will leave Dingarvin on 2nd and continue our car trip to Corke then
to Ring of Kerry, Galway and Dingle Bay then back to Dublin to catch
the ferry to Hollyhead and continue our journey though Wales and visit
Veronica and Byron on their farm in South Wales, then to Stonehenge,
Bath and back to Ealing.
We will spend 4 days with Mark and visit the attrations around London.
On the 13th Jan we catch the train to Paris for 3 days then then train
to Venice and then Florence, then Rome then Dubai and then home!!
