Yep I can do this now thanks to a Thai lady called Te, who gave me the best foot massage ever (and no Mr Hanson before you ask there was no happy finishing involved). My toe and feet feel brand new, it was absolute agony when she was working her magic, everyone else in the palour was laughing at me crying out and whincing from the pain. It took her about 2 hours for 250baht (5 quid) to get rid of all the pain. She said she could feel where all the bad parts were by the massage, without me having to squeal. It's amazing how parts of your feet are effected by all the other parts of your body, your heart, liver, intestines, head, lungs, back etc.
Today was a scorcher and not a cloud in the sky, my last full day on Samui. Took my little honda 125 around the island taking in some of the other beaches. Managed to do 6 beaches from 10 to 5pm, pretty much a hour on each. It's frightening how hot the sun is when you get off the bike, you don't realise, fortunately the factor 30 worked, just. Starting to get a good colour now, rather than the grey pastey looking, ruddy faced bloke who arrived out here 3 weeks ago.
And as it was a Sunday, it was laundry day, a bag of washing for 30 baht (60p), it's cheaper to live in Thailand than it was living at my Dad's all those years ago, and he never did the ironing.
So I feel refereshed, with a new toe, a healthy glow and clean clothe (clothes doesn't rhyme)all ready to go and meet my fellow travellers in Bangkok for my month adventure.
