As I have spent most of my working live in The Old Coffee House, I thought it would be a good venue for my send off and last Thursday London beers for a while. A good turn out, and a lot of people I hadn't seen for ages. Thanks to those who showed up, don't think I spoke to everyone. At the end of the night a few of us went to Trisha's for old times sake, a late night underground cheap drinking bar.

I was getting emotional, particularly when Gareth presented me with a leaving present. A very thoughtful present as I will be travelling the world sometimes on my own. It was a blow up doll called Kombat Cherri, so could easily be used as a lilo too. I was a little concerned about the blow up rifle and camouflage outfit going through customs.

Me and Gareth ended up taking Cherri back to my flat for a nightcap, it was a bit of a let down....
