We have spent the night in
Chur pronounced Koor, which is why when we went to buy the train ticket, she didnīt know where we meant. Switzerland is very pretty, the sawtooth mountains of the Alps are incredable, sorry about my spelling, but spell check for english doesnīt work on a german speaking computer. We went out for dinner last night, and it cost more than our room. So much for the budget.....Iīll be taking donations when we get home. First time in a room with the bathroom in the hall...not too weird, but we do have a sink and a corner shower in the room. The room is all honey stained pine floors and bed, armoire, desk, night tables, and we look out to the mountains, and the streets below, as we are in a corner room, the streets are very tight, only one car could pass, but they seem to manage well.
Chur is the oldest city in Switzerland..and our hotel has been here since 1790 or something like that. We are off to Italy today, and donīt know when we will have internet again, so bye for now....
