Where I stayed
spent the day literally travelling
quite sad seeing fran only for a day
but i am travelling today for the purpose of gaining work!! i desperately need work too!!!
got offered a jopb in Mackenzies, bar, cafe and grill and full time hours, i dont want to turn it down
12 hours on a bus gets so boring, but met an awesome kiwi chick named sarah
spent the day together chatting about life, and had dinner together in Wellington before i got the overnight ferry
i have felt safe in New Zealand most of the time
but having to walk to the ferry terminal 2km away was not the best journey\
pitch balck, normally a shuttle bus, but nope not one tongith due to 1, o'clock in the mornign ferries dont have a shuttle bus
i asked iof thee was one even the steward was shocked that i was going to walk on my own
but found people to walk with so it was all ok
AC/DC played so there wwere some drunken fans, but it was fine
the overnight fery ride was bumby and i thought the boat was going to flip over!
but then got to picton all ok
then hitched a ride to belnheim by some lovely christchurch guys!!
new zealand is one of the only countries you can hitch in the world, well still had instances, but i toook the chance and it was fine!
i wish i had got the whole ride to Chrischurch because Blenheim was a miserable place!! just like a place back home in Essex, realy nothing interesting there
the only good thing was i could camp and sleep in peace and quiet
literally arrived and then slept and roganised transpiort to Christchurch tomorow
