Today up bright and early for a scrumtious brekki down newtown near aime's uni, then off for the road trip back up to the inland of the Hunter valley!
with wicked music, australain and kiwis playing on the CD player by the courtesy of Kris so i know a few we drove in the scortching heat to the inland Hunter vaelley
this weekend has been said on the news to be one of the hottest for this year and forest fire weather alert!!
you hear more about forest fires when you come here and when you witness the heat and see the dry thundersotems you know why the fires can occur, though some idiotic and mindless peope who love fire can cause them too

theapple orchard in the hunter valley is a regular stopover for a weekend break for Kris and her friends
roughly 16 poeple go up twice a year to get awway from the cioty life, and to have a relaxing weekend away
when you drive away from the coast you hit old country and vbast areas of beautiful feilds and huge hills!
the huntter valley is known for winery and many orchards as you drive past
i just couldnt get over the natural beauty, jjust untouched!! the population near the apple orchards tiny, mooon flats is the nearest village/pub 20 mins away and there is maybe 4 houses nearby on the way to the apple orchard
relazing weekend so swim in the hunter river was definitly a must just due to the sheer heat!!
then relaxing on the porch with a book and beer, this is australia!!
HUGE bbq cooked everyones meal on, the BBQ are defintily for the men in this country it seems
