wow is all i can say
arrived in Agra frm Jaipur welcome to a monsoon from the worst train staion in all of india well one off!! Jaipur literally had  a train staion with people sleeping everywhere, its hard to see that, but not as hard as the beggars trust me
but the whole station was used as a public toilet and the gys that had to go on the tracks seriously must have the worst job in the entire world!!
but we got to agra fairly early so we had two days
we spent the first day visiting the old place where the main city used ot be based from in the 16th centurey roughly th\at era
it was an old ghost town now, lots of indian tourist there
the structure of this palce was amazing and the carivings weere incredible!!! you culd imagine this palce thriving with people and princesses!!
the Jas mijd mosqu on the palace site was just so big and huge and stood out a mile away my fave part of the gghost town

but the best part of the whole agra experience was defintily the Taj Mahal!!!
got up incredibly early to see it for sun rise, but due to there being onsoon weather no sun rise to be seen but that did mean that there were no peope there!!!!!!
had trouble with baggage though they thoguht my mascot bear arnold may have had a bomb in him i still got a piccy with him :)
had lots of pictures taken outside of the Taj!! one of the best things ive ever seen!
you walk through the arch way to the beatuiful building and it just hits you!! it really amazes you the sheer height of the wonder of the world
i never knew how huge it was!
but to hear bout the taj and to see it inperson is a an amzing experience and i feel so lucky to have seen it!!!!!!
inside the Taj the tomb of the wife the building was dedicated to does not hod the real body she is placed downstairs
the beautiful precious stones carved into the marble makers the wonder an incredibile masterpiece
it took 12 years to build! and 40milllion ruppees and 50,000 tonnes of gold!! architects from all over the world europe to asia came to the 16th century planner and helped build this great wonder of the world
the baby taj which we saw after was  amzing too but on smaller scale 6 years to build, after taj, iranian design too, no one there bvecause of the rai but again beatuiful marble work
the fort of agra is just amazing to see itslef from the outside because of the height!!! lots of hiostory to do with the fort and a major part of agra
we then were taken to see how rugs were made in the olden days
big lounge rugs take up to 12 months on the old machines, can you imagine!!!!!!
then overnight train to varanassi, by far the best train overnighter had 4 beds to ourselves fantastic!!! own curtain too and we were all so tired from early starts and so much site seeing we all slept like babies!!
