in jodphur now after a 6 hr bus ride to the city, which was so funny with a man and his horn
the driver had six different horn styles just to makwe the journey more interesting for him, so loud!!
also indian music getin used to it now
the bus was huge, well actually not hupge just the sheer amount of peole fitted on was an unbelievable amount!! kris and i coulnt undewrstand where these peeps came from when we arrived!
had a swim to cool down and then went int the city whihc is like a huge market in the old city, beautiful!! more people than Jaislamer but the people are stil more firenldy than delhi!!
an awesome night too seriously awesome!!!
got to see a hindu festival dance Marathon with sticks it was great!!! the festival 'Dussiehra' the women stay inside all the day then allowd out at night whihc is why the dancing happens.
its to do with the hinu god 'rama's adventures gainst Davana'
Kris heard some music so we folowed, and the 9 day festival was at its end, all the kids got us involved and they loved Kris and i as we got right involbed
the mother of everyone loved me she kept wanting me to sit next to her
visted the 15th century fort and got to learn a little buit of the hiostory in India, the fort was huge!!! you could see the biggest resdience palace in the world!!!!!
it was really interesting and saw lots of artifact and old items pretty rooms
also saw the palace whihc one of the kings was buried in beatutiful marble
also went to the bazars here, wehere al the locals go to and shopped with locals
off to Udipar tmorow another long bus journeys, more palaces to see :D
