Hey all
admittly havig free internet, though very slow has allowed me to keep this updated, dont know how long thjis will last thogh espeially as im moving on the road nex week, but we'll just wait and see!!
ye today was one of my favourite days of being in Kmapala, we as Jules and i went across the equaotr down 'Masaka road' whcich is oen of the only 10 places in the world which you can do it!! unsightly disks sayign the equtor crossing was what was written in our travel guide, but it didnt put me off, i was so exited, being a geogrpahy lover and never crossing the equator i really wanted to get a pic and say ive done it whooop

it was gettting there that was the fun part though, Uganda has the two most busiest taxi parks in the whole of east Uganda, and my gosh didnt we know that for a fact when we arrived!! we first got a matutu to he wrong taxi park and then thank goodness for men in steward clothng the right people directed us to the right taxi park
but when we got there lookuign for he right stop men were telling us left right and centre to go on tbis one, that one so aggressive some of them, so we asked a steward again, wwe finally took off thoguh Jules was not enirely sure it was a good idea due to thunderstorm cluds in the sky, as matutus stop when it rains, and the equator is the middle of nowehere so we would have been stranded, not so good, but hey in Uganda the clouds dissapear as the sun beams through!!!!!!!!!
the journey was awesoe as Uganda has some of the most beautiful scenery in the wolrd, i couldnt really take much pictures as people on the Matutus would have probably thought rich white person that why i havent taken many photos of Kamapala, especially after having my phone stolen :( it was a good journey though the west side of Kampala on the Masaka road is beautiful and stunning, peple should come to uganda for the scenery you could look at the hills, the acres and acres of trees all day!!
after being at the equator, (very touristy) but we also got to see some of the most beautiful africn art ever in the trading centre!! all so expensive but absolultey stunning, ive got some pics of some, and i will upload
after jules had the biggest muffin ever we then headed back
the matutu ride on the way home was lets say an experience!!
after experiencng an awful ride thurs to the museum, (with only men in the taxi) we vowed never to do it again
but it was 4, takes a good hour and half to the equaor so we got the one that came, first oiff all only men, oops but actually it wa a group of men who just been to maskaka celbrating someones bday and they wanted to pik up some passenger s on the way, we got a good rate, and the men were actually a good laugh, it was awkward at first but being calm aand it was fine, they just chatted and drove us into town and paid for us to get another taxi further to the right place into town, awesome!!
got back had the best chips ive ever had in africa so far, red chilli do amazing food!!
chilling dy tomorow befoer traveling to entebbe monday, last day in Kampala!!
au revoir xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
