hey guys whoever is reading my blog!!

was introduced to the preschool kids yesterday and also shown the Soft power education education centre and how well the charity has made such a difference to the rural village in Jinga area. Seriously an amazing place, a massive culture shock, but i am seriously loving it!!The weather is mighty hot!!! you're highlighted immediately as a tourist which isnt that cool cos every civilian bombards you with asking you if you want to ride on a 'Booda Booda' or would you like some fruit, though the fruit is amazing, though malaria tablets i hate!! they are really not going well with my stomach :( but o well hopefully i wont get that deadly disease. We met up with some Canadians who are also volunteering they leave this week and also a guy called Dan hes also travelling on his own, but with Ellie, Recks and Jess got a group going which is cool, we painted yesterday and today in the heat its so hot, but seriously as the pictures show the school realy needs the paint. The children are so sweet too and always say hello and are just so friendly, even the adults are!! I've never been to a counrty where everyone is so welcoming its a shock to the system, but so is the heat too!! The lunch is provided whilst at the school which is basic rice and beans and lovely irish potatoes, after work went into the river nile which is great after such a hot day!!, normally in the evening the group bases camp at the NRE backpackers campsite as the bar is more lively and the drinks are cheaper :) i hope all is well with all!!! xxx
