We left early to get to Koh Phi Phi and soon realised that the island was much more expensive than other places in Thailand.  The place was such a tourist trap and has been totally geared towards European tourists rather than locals.

We went in search of accomodation with two other couples that had travelled with us to Phi Phi.  The guys all went off in seach of a room, whilst us girls looked after the baggage!  We ended up in a really nice room with air con, en-suit bathroom, TV and fridge! Very plush compared to a lot of the accomodation that we have stayed in so far.

In the evening after some drinking on the roof terrace at the hostel, we headed out to see the town - highlight being a reggae bar that had live boxing!  We headed to the beach too and the bars were buzzing with people and loud music

The next day we spent a lot of time sitting at the same spot on the beach (one of the only spots with shade for me!).  In the evening we headed to a viewpoint high up in the mountain.  It took quite a while to get up there - lots of steps to climb! The view was definately worth the climb though, as you could see both sides of the island and we watched another good sunset.  We met up with the group for dinner and had amazing seafood.

The next day we were heading off to Koh Samui which would be an overnight boat journey.
