We woke up really early since we had a reservation for the Vatican.

Our tour guide took us through Vatican City Museum, and explained the work of Michelangelo in the Sistine Chapel (once again, no photos permitted).

We then had a tour of St Peter's Basilica, Piazza San Pietro, and St Peter's Square.

After lunch, we took the tour bus to the Collesium for another tour.

When we returned to the hotel, Vicki and I went out for some last-minute shopping around the city and then stopped for a canoli and espresso.

Tonight, we had a gala at the Brancaccio Palace so we had to dress up for the occassion.

All in all, a fun vacation and entertaining time to visit Italy for the first time.
