Everyone, but everyone we have spoken to has told us that Noosa Heads is beautiful. So we've come here from Mary and Derek's and it is.
We are camped about eight feet from the water in the river (Noosa (-?)) and the sun has been shining nearly all day. Just at the moment, I can (almost) forgive Australia all the tropical storms that it's thrown at me over the last four weeks....
One day later: We've had another sunny day (that's two on the trot) with only minimal showers thrown in. Had a good long walk to Sunshine Beach and lunched at the Surf Life Saving Club. Didn't see the koalas, emus and goannas en route that we'd hoped we might though..

Noosa Heads USA - are you just trying to fool your followers??
One of my bezzies lives in Noosa and works at the Surf Club - if I'd known you were going I've have put you in touch! x
There's a slight chance we might re-visit as we head back south to the airport in Brisbane Becks. If we do, I will defo let you know as we like the possibility of "mate's rates" on the beer...
