We decided to go into town so that we could buy ingredients to make some veggie dumplings(wontons) for dinner in Chinatown. We found a great little chinese grocery with everything you can need for a authentic chinese meal. We explored the little shops through Fan Tan Alley. Apparently, ages ago, Fan Tan Alley used to house some the more shady businesses in downtown Victoria in the shape of opium houses and gambling dens. From Pandora Street, you can walk through Fan Tan Alley onto Fisgard Street, home of some awesome chinese bakeries. We ended up getting some honey buns from a little bakery on Fisgard, and then headed home.
