We got up early to beat the crowds. We decided to hike the Pipiwai Trail up to the infinity pool. We got there and there were a couple of people hanging out there. Once they left it was just us and a magnificent view from the top of the waterfall. We walked a bit further, but the path to Waimoku Falls was closed. Along the way we trampled over lots of rotting guava, the biggest banyan tree I've ever seen and by some cows too.

We were back at camp by 11am. We hung out in the tent for a bit and then got really stir crazy. What were we going to do to pass the time? Sze suggested driving back to Hana so that we could hit up the Hasegawa General Store. Hell yeah! We excitedly jumped in the car for the 45 minute drive to town. We bought guava juice, ice cream, chips and playing cards. Then it was 45 minutes back. But man, it was worth it. We need a touch of the city, if you can call Hana a city. By the time we got back it was time to start the fire and make dinner so that we could be in bed by sunset. Hehe. This portion of the trip definitely turned us into old people. Dinner at 4pm. In bed by 6pm.

Here's what we saw along the way:
