We were starving. Due to train schedules we really needed to get back to
Bacharach so we decided we would wait until then to eat dinner. By the time that we got back it was nearly 8 pm. On the main stretch in Bacharach there is a little restaurant called Rusticana. It is run by a locals. We had the most wonderful dinner of Wienersnitzel and some of the best Apple strudel in the world. We were the only ones in the restaurant. This is something that is nice about traveling in the off season. The couple running the restaurant were so attentive. They could be since we were the only ones there. They even gave us a photo of the restaurant how it looks in the summer with the arbor outside covered in flowers.
Now it was time to get to bed. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day. We have to catch the train back to
Frankfurt and then fly out of Frankfurt into
Florence.
