Cory and I arrived at JFK and tried to get some info about Paulie. By the time that we got to JFK Paul should have gotten on the next one. The first person at the airport that we went to said that they couldn't give us any information. Having worked guest services before we understand the privacy policies but we also knew that there were loophole. We looked around the airport and found someone with a friendly face. We explained the situation and Paulie's dependence on us.

We had chosen wisely, she got on her computer and assured us that Paulie had gotten on the plane and gave us the gate number that he would be arriving in. With her kindness we felt assured enough to wait for Paulie there at the gate.

His face was priceless when he got off of the plane. It lit up when he saw us. We were all relieved. Thank goodness for lots of cushion space between flights. We went to pick up our luggage. Since Cory and I had checked in for the original flight our luggage was being held in the lost and found office. Luckily it was fairly simple to get our bags so that we could check in for our Swiss Air flight.

As we walked into the area near the Swiss Air check in we got the first glance of Jeremiah and the girls. I was so freakin' ticked. Jeremiah started explaining immediately saying that they had told him when he checked in that he needed to go to the gate. Funny because he wasn't there when we checked in and they didn't tell Cory and I to go to the gate. I am still furious but we have two weeks of vacation and everything worked out so I will just have to get over it.

We enjoyed a little lunch in the food court before going to our gate and boarding the plane

Unfortunately Christina checked in first and told them to put us all together and then proceeded to choose the seats that she and Heather wanted. The window and aisle. That stuck the rest of us smushed in center seats elbow to elbow. Had we checked in two by two we could have been sitting comfortably. I am already having doubts about traveling with six people.
