Okay as always I didn't get a lot of sleep on the plane and my eyes feel like over-ripe grapes. We have landed here in Washington D.C.

Customs was a breeze. Our luggage was waiting for us and we were done in no time. Had I known that we were going to move so quickly I would have booked an earlier flight. Better safe than sorry. We left customs and found the Jet Blue Check in to check in for our flight to Orlando. This time we didn't check in on line so we got in the full service line. It was twice as fast as the baggage check line.

It was the same experience we had with security before here at Dulles. It wasn't a seamless experience by any means. I sure do love Orlando Airport.

The first thing that we are going to do is get some familiar food. I am in the mood for some MacDonald's but the Dulles doesn't have one. Just down the way from our gate is a five guys that is serving hamburgers and fries 24 hours a day. That's the ticket. Cory and I had a couple of double cheeseburgers and fries. While we were sitting there Nick came by and said that he and Julie and Josh were sitting at their gate if we would like a chance to say goodbye. By the time that we had finished our lunch (breakfast) they had already left. At least we have exchanged contact info so that we can correspond later.

We took the extra time at the airport to get in contact with Paul to make sure that he had been able to get our truck from short term parking. It took a couple of tries but we finally reached him. He said that they went back that night. Jeremiah had a terrible time trying to get Cory's 6 speed into reverse but he finally managed. They had to pay $17 bucks but that is much better than the $200 that we thought we were going to be saddled with. We found out that Jeremiah would be at the Orlando Airport to pick us up. The trip is almost over.
