Well, our last day in Arezzo.
My haircut turned out OK I think.
Turns out that the head (excuse the pun) hairdresser had lived in Australia for a few years, and although she couldn't remember much english, I emerged unscathed sans mohawk!

We spent the last day wandering the streets of Arezzo in the raiin and discovered new nooks and crannies, it's that sort of town where there are more locals than tourists and every one likes to get out and about and socialise.
Jane manged to root out an 80 year old gold watch which belonged to the shopkeeper's uncle.

We wandered in to a terrific display of old radio and movie equipment dating back to Marconi. John & Pat will appreciate the photos.

For our last night we went to the Osteria Gucini Restuarant: Grilled Veal with Shaved Truffle and Hand Rolled Spaghetti with Smoked Ham, Tomatoes and Cream, followed by Pana Cotta. Our first experience with truffles, more smell than taste!
Next morning a 7.00 am departure from the apartment took us on to the Autostrada, this time, north to Firenze Airport.
After a bit of a delay we were on our way to Spain!

Cat Photos?
Great haircut! Bit disappointed by the number of cat photos in the latest posting. Very low number, I hope your standards are not dropping.
