I've heard of cattle class, but doggy class? We noticed this little girl "Bella" strutting around the Munich airport behind her owner and sure enough they were seated across the aisle from us.
The taxi driver on the way from the airport to our hotel warned us that the part of Athens we were staying in is riddled with immigrants, drug pushers and prostitiutes, so we are confident we have chosen the best and most interesting area.
Our hotel is only a few minutes from the Plaka area which is the original part of Athens, just a couple of thousands of years old. We grabbed a couple of bottles of wine and some takeaways and sat on our balcony looking out over the Acropolis.
Today we intend to walk up there and we have booked a bus tour this afternoon that takes us along along the coast.
