Sunday March 21st: Blanchard Spring Caverns
Weather: Rainy
We had a soggy night last night. I went to the bathroom no less than three times. The thrird time I just stayed up and decided to wander in the rain. Fortunately John got up about then so we went in the Van. We started organizing. One of the leaders woke up. They came in at 4:30 am! I happened to be going to the bathroom at that time. Leslie and I were awake so we helped with breakfast. Hashbrowns, onions, red peppers, and egg burritos. Yum! So today we were helpers. (Dinner was a veggie full salad and potato soup) to cute, cook, and clean. One day out of the way!
We went to Tyler Bend Visitor Center to get my passport stamp and find out about caves. We went about 45 minutes away to Blanchard Spring Caverns. $10 a tour! Only 0.4 miles, but really pretty. It had me craving for a wild cave tour! Back at camp... another wet night ahead.
10:36 Health care bill passes. In van hiding from rain and to listen to the radio.
