Escaping the pace of San Fran we headed into the country. First towards Arnold where the amazing Redwoods have been growing for thousands of years. We filled our bellies in "Big Trees" and hit the road again. Yosemite..pronounced YO SEE MITE..like vegemite:) That's how the Aussies pronouce it anyway... Americans know otherwise! Yosemite amazed us with it's majestic landscape of waterfalls and skyscraping cliffs. We spent the afternoon exploring the park and then headed south to Oakhurst. Spent the night, stuffed ourselves with belgian waffles in the morn and off to Vegas!!
