How wonderful is Switzerland. I am very sad to be leaving tomorrow. I don't want to sleep. I don't want to wast a single second of the time I have left here!!! While in Zermatt we have reached 4000 meters above sea level, played in the snow and had just a wonderful time. Everyone has seemed to be so relaxed and enjoyed themselves immensely.
The Matterhorn it magnificent! It was truly awe inspiring standing so high on a mountain and still having to look so much higher to see the top of another. We took the gondola to the top of the Alps (don't ask if they were the Swiss or Italian alps as that is a source of much debate) and it really did feel like we were on top of the world. I personally had a hard time with altitude sickness; I was very close to fainting and could hardly breath. It felt like no oxygen was making it to my brain and was even finding it hard to speak or think. It was a very odd sensation.
Cilla tried making a snowman and of cause there was a lot of snowballs being tossed around.
A group went skiing/snowboarding and this morning woke up a bit stiff and bruised. Poor Jess was hit in the face with a T-bar and Daileth has a "Mad bruise" on his back, but they all enjoyed themselves. We were all expecting it to be very cold here in Zermatt, but in reality it is much like Canberra was 3 weeks ago but without the bitter wind, so I have loved the temperature.
Today Cilla had a lovely girls day out with the beautiful Kate while I got to really relax and catch up with the others. She really enjoyed herself and came home feeling like a 20 year old that had spent the day with her best friend. And then Mum, Cilla and I went shopping for souvenirs. Tonight we had a lovely evening in. and now we are all packing for tomorrows train to Mandello Del Lario. Liz and Rod will be married in 2 days... We are all excited about that.
Bedtime now. I don't know what the Internet situation is in Mandello del Lario but I will post wedding pics ASAP.

Hey Coral,
I am sooooooo jelous... but happy all at the same time. It sounds like you are all having a fantastic time, I check your blog daily and every time there is something new I get excited. 4000 meters above sea level whoa! Nothing much happening in the top end of Australia very hot compared to beautiful snow top mountains in Switzerland. Thank you for putting this blog on, it makes me anxious to travel the world! I'm off to Bali on Wednesday compliments of my work, they have paid for me and Jamiee to go for 5 days.. it's meant to be a work thing... but I can see me lazing by the pool bar sippin on cocktails.. can't wait! Please tell every one I say hello, especially to Trin tell her I miss her and I'm still waiting for a post card!! I sent her my address when she sent me the only e-mail I recieved from her when her and aunty Luce were in Madrid. Please also tell Lizzy & Rod I wish them all the best on there wedding day and that I havn't forgotten her..
