Unfortunately home without one of our bags. The bag made it to LAX (and we still strongly dislike that airport but it's the main hub for heading across the Pacific) and we had to recheck it through along with all the others at customs and for some insane reason United Airlines decided to send it on a different flight that won't be landing until later tonight. They had over two and a half hours from the time we checked the bag through at customs to when our flight left for
Orlando, so there's really no acceptable excuse for one of the three bags not being processed properly. So now because of someones' stupidity they'll have to arrange a time to drive it all the way out to our house tomorrow to deliver it here. It's annoying enough as it is, but at least it happened on the way home instead of on the way to start the vacation.
The internet was terrible on the ship for the last couple of days so we haven't updated from
Christchurch on yet. Those should be on the site in the next couple of days or so (depending on how the unpacking goes and if we ever get our last bag).
Oh well, time to start planning for the next great adventure in 2013...
