Another 24 hour bus journey lands us in Natales, a small Chilean town used as an entrance to Park National Torres de Paine, which roughly translates into the Park National Torrent of Pain... hahaha.

We are here to buy all the necessary supplies to go off trekking and camping for 5 days. The park is full of giant glaciers, lakes and rocky mountains and is at the same latitude and longitude as Northern Russia.
We didnīt pack a coat when we left the UK because of the bulk, just a few hoddies and a rain mac so its a choice of 8 or 10 t-shirt layers. And iīm wondering just how suitable are my Nike air max for a four day mountain, glacier trek???
