Have spent three days in Lima, shopping for Christmas presents. Tried a Peru mall but didnīt try the Peru mall prices! So headed down the local markets for better variety and cheaper bargains.

Walked along the coast line to see the pier and the surfers and felt very European amongst the glass skyscrapers, taxis and fast food places.



Accommodation and food are all much more expensive in Lima and after two days we had decided is was time to get rural again, so we took the next bus south, to Peruīs sand boarding capital, Ica, to try and slam sand into places it shouldnīt be going.
