Today was the mini bus ride down from the central highlands to Da Nang on the coast. This mini bus was full with one 'family' women and children, me and one other guy.

There was some discussion at the beginning on where everyone sat.  I was in the foreigner seat, behind the driver.  It’s where they usually put me maybe it’s because I’m an early pick up.  Well anyway I was joint by two young girls (filling up the seat) then one of the mothers wanted to sit there with her son.

So there were 5 of us on this seat and empty seats at the back.  So I offered to move which was met with much clapping.

As the trip went on I realised that if you get sick you sit in the front seat.  And boy did they get sick.  This was the best trip for scenery, waterfalls off cliff faces, the road was windy and downhill.  The small boy threw up on the seat glad I moved!!

Actually the two front rows threw up.  While the last two were checking out the waterfalls and river.  This road is the the old Ho Chi Minh trail a felt sorry for the poor soldiers it’s up and down with more twists than a roller coaster.

Accommodation was tough to get in Da Nang so I only have one day.

So I took in the Museum of Cham Sculpture.  Then wandered around checking out places for food it was great to be back to where people spoke English.
