We spent all day recovering and managed to drag ourselves out of bed around 10.30 that night to wait on Carol and Tony who were due to meet us in Kata at around 11
We spent the next day chilling out on the beach and myself and Lou did some snorkelling (recomended highly by Adam and Liz) and we saw loads of exotic fish big and small. We even saw a sea snake gliding between the rocks eating up some of the little fish. Carol spent the day telling Tony to paste himself in suncream only to get scalded on her back and in spots around her nose and forehead. When Tony broke out in a rash of spots the next day we had a great lauigh nicknaming them, Pizza and Blow torch face.
We met up with Adam and Liz that night for the largest meals in the world in an Irish pub and were entertained the whole night in Patong with games of Jenga, connect four and a new personal favourite of the lads which we called "Hammer the nail". Basically they have a huge slab of wood on a tripod and everybody get one shot at a time to hammer a nail into the wood with a pointy hammer. Sounds easy! First person to get the nail all the way down wins and the last person has to buy him a drink. When the pressure was on Tony lost twice having to buy the barman (who played with two nails as opposed to our one) a drink. After that we were entertained by another barman and his magic tricks and juggling and after much of the same the next day and night we packed up and got the express ferry to Ko Phi Phi...
