A night in Resistencia. Battery recharge...

One night in Resistencia on the way to Iguazu Falls. We toyed with the idea of crossing into Paraguay from here but decided to head straight on to Puerto Iguazu. Apparently itīs much easier to get accross into Paraguay for the day for some cheap ass shopping from Iguazu than here and itīs supposed to be much easier to get a visa for Brazil from there too. Spent half the morning, after arriving to the bus station at 7 am, trying to find a hostal. Everywhere is completely booked up. Taxi guy reckons thereīs a festival on but then again this dude could barely talk and his mullet was seriously 80īs tastic. He looked like thereīs a constant party going on in his noggin. God does have a sense of humour after all. Still though he got us to some digs not far away from the center of the city and they were pretty ok if not a little pricy. Maybe the casino next door has something to do with that. Got almost two full days here so weīre probably gonna sleep and maybe drink a little to pass the time more freely. There may be something better to see other than the inside of a bar or hotel room but weīve been flat out travelling for 6 weeks now so gonna catch up on some zīs and up the alcohol intake (youīd swear we hadnīt had a drink) for a night.
