Today was a relaxing day!

We went for a drive to Sweetwater Winery, one of our favorites, located on a backcountry road in an old barn.  Keith and Constance have some unique wines, and some spirits that are great!  The spirits are made using "local" fruits and berries.

When we left Sweetwater, we traveled on back roads through the countryside that offered magnificent views of the mountains.

At Camden, we stopped to walk around.  The library there is absolutely beautiful, with an outdoor amphitheatre and a children's area with concrete benches resting on concrete titled books, including "Miss Rumphius".

For dinner, we went to one of our favorite places, Conte's in Rockland.  We were served by Shiloh and Raven (mother and daughter).  We both had what we had last year: Mary, soft shelled crab with scallops and Doug, pumpkin (very sweet) swordfish, both served over pasta with garlic and oil. The meal started with a very interesting salad of cabbage, apple, and carrots in a vinegar base, and bread.  Wine was served in a glass that accommodated enough wine for probably three glasses.  And we had enough for another meal.
