Our new good friends, Dennis and Tonda, suggested that we go to Colorado, via Flaming Gorge, Wayoming/Utah. They said we would love it. We drove down the West Side through Green River, as they recommended, and, although the views and terrain were unique, we couldn't figure out why they said to do this. Then, when we got to the Utah side and actually started climbing out of the gorge through the pass, we understood. Between the ultra blue water in the resevoir and the color of the rocks on the mountain pass out, we could not get enough. Plus, we climbed and climbed up to about 8,000 feet. At the top there were the normal (for us) free range cattle all over the roads. I don't think I will ever get used to, or bored by seeing these creatures all over the road.
