And now for a brief recap of my second day trying this madcap sport involving strapping a board to your feet and pointing yourself down a steep, snow-covered hill.

Times fallen: Less than the number of my fingers and toes that are not frostbitten (that's 20)
Times gotten back up: Everytime
Times cartwheeled: Twice

Body parts that hurt:
I'm currently having some difficulty discriminating between does, and where doesn't hurt. Though occasionally I get a spike of my in my left buttcheek, just to remind me I'm still alive I guess. I should also point out that it's all good pain today, probably the result of this unfamiliar thing I've been doing called exercise...

Things I don't like about the slopes here:
- There are a number of sections on the main hill that are no wider than the average road. It's a pain for me, because I don't have the experience to enjoy myself during those sections- and I end up grinding slowly down and trying not to go over the edge and into the trees. I also have a remarkable inability to go in a straight line, which makes these sections even more frustrating.

Put me in a wide open space with lots of room to manuever though, and I'm sweet. Not particularly quick, but I can move without falling over (hence the low fall count for today). Tomorrow I think I`m going to check the other side of the mountain, weather permitting, since there's something of a blizzard up there now.

That's it for today, I'm off to soak in the thermal baths next door...
