After an amazing breakfast at the hotel, we ventured to Ballandee to go horseback riding. We metPhilhemina , "Phil"– a beautiful and kind Irish woman who owned the farm. Phil's four small dogs met us at the gates of the farm. Kayla became quick friends with the dogs. Phil patiently taught us how to ride thestrong and graceful horses. Shea's horseFernando accidentally wandered onto a neighbors farm and was mildlyelectrocuted causing Fernando to become every shaky and hard to control. Shea was very brave and did a very good job controlling Fernando through some winding trails. Kayla’s horse kicked Jack’s horse. After a few frightening moments, Jack regained control of his stallion. Our weather was typical for Ireland. It was raining and cool. We loved riding.
