This morning my host mother Conce, gave me a purple scarf! She said she gave it to me because purple is my favorite color and so I could use it so my neck doesn't get cold on my way to the bus stop.

Although my Spanish is very limited and I am struggling to communicate with my Mexican family, I am sure that the purple scarf, among many other wonderful things, is a sign that all will be well!

All will be well, and all will be well, and all manner of things will be well.

Colleen, I heard Some Nights by Fun. and it made me think of you and how much I miss you. I actually started crying in my car on the drive home from campus. But, don't worry, those tears of sorrow, quickly turned to tears of joy. Despite my realization of how much I really did rely on you for guidance, I accept this challenge to become whatever it is that I'm supposed to be. And I am going to figure out what I stand for, one way or another. I love you, and I miss you soo much. I know that you will make so many great impacts on the world because things just HAPPEN when you're around. You're the most amazing person I have ever met, of course things are going to go the right way for you! Blessings Chica!

mi'ha..the purple scarf and the vegetarian meal...it will all be ok in the end. There is lots of love to go around. Here is the chorus from the communion song from worship today. The song was written by our very talented minister of music. "Throw me some peaces, pass on the peaces, 12 puzzle peaces, I send you my peaces." Take the time to find peace within yourself.

Another song....This one by Brothers Franzich..."I don't know what will happen now. We've got some difficult days ahead. But it really doesn't matter with me now. 'Cause I've been to the muntain top. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people will get through to the promised land. I have been to the mountain top. I have seen the promised land."
