This morning we found out that Steve's father was in the hospital on PEI. Steve was able to get in touch with his sister Maureen and Mom before we left the house to find out that his father was having a similar episode as what he had this past winter with an infection. From what we understand, he is being given antibiotics and is stable. After his sister passed away a couple of weeks ago, I think it has taken a toll on him with us leaving as well. We are praying for him to get better quickly and that he is able to get his health back.

We went for a long drive to Taos, which is a small community about an hour to an hour and a half from Santa Fe. On the way we went on a gallery tour in Pilar, New Mexico (several artists were showing their pieces as part of an organized tour). We met an artist named Steve Kilborn. We couldn't resist getting a photo of Steve Killorn by the Steve Kilborn sign (just one letter off for those of you who don't get the correlation - see the photo attached). We had lunch in Taos and then went the long way home across the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge. The scenery was stunning.

We arrived home later than expected so we had to go directly to Nancy's place (the other person who when on the Knitaly tour with Judith and I) for dinner. Her daughter Tracy and friend George were there as well. We had a wonderful night except for the excruciating headache that began get just before leaving Nancy's place. It ended up turning into a sinus migraine. When we got back home, I took a combination of medications before being able to get to sleep. It was not the best way to end the night but a great day and wonderful dinner with great company no matter how it ended.
