This morning we received the sad news that Steve's Aunt Blanid passed away this morning in Sackville, New Brunswick. We feel blessed that we were able to stop in and have a nice visit with her on our way through. We had brought Gonzo and Cocoa to visit her as well. We took some nice photos which will be wonderful for us to have - she looked so beautiful and was laughing and enjoying the cats.

Blanid was 84 years old, Steve's fathers older sister. She had a stroke a year or so ago and had worked hard to regain her speech. She would get frustrated that her brain would not allow her to get out what she was wanting to say...but she tried and was greatly improved when we saw her a couple of weeks ago.

She was a beautiful person and she will be missed by all who knew her.
