It is 8:00 am Friday morning and we just had our last Mexico Exchange meeting! We are all very excited about leaving tomorrow morning! (Bright and early might I add!) Sarah, Georgette and I can't wait to take this amazing group of 8th graders to Monterrey, Mexico. When we arrive tomorrow around 11 am, we will immediately be going to a welcome party at the house of the Ibarrola Family. There we will meet all the parents of our Mexican exchange families, as they did when they came to Charlotte. Sunday and Monday our PDS students will be on holiday because the San Roberto students will be on spring break from school. This is perfect timing because it will allow them to adjust to their new environment and explore their new surroundings. I will update all of you as soon as I have access to the internet in Monterrey. See you at the airport at 6am tomorrow!!! Hasta luego!
