It doesn't get much better than this! Friday was another beach day. We woke up late, and spent the day going back and forth from the room to the beach. A good crossword under a beach umbrella and some epic shelling at low tide! After all of that excitement, we called in an order to Island Pizza, which was one of our favorites from last time, and ate in our comfy clothes back in the room.

Today we thought we'd take a break from the beach, as we imagined on a Saturday we'd have to share the beach with a few more people, and who wants that!?! Sarah found a ridiculously sized flea market to check out, and an outlet mall just down the road so we did that. We decided it was too hot for shopping! (Imagine that! Who'd have thought it was too hot in southern Florida in July!) We got back on the island and went straight to Pinocchio's Italian ice-cream and thoroughly enjoyed it! Then we had burgers at a fun place and now we're back in the room for an early night! 

    Now I'm off to the porch with a lovely gulf view and an 8-year-old bottle of Haitian rum. 

    Life is good!
